Replica Gates for the Goodwood Estate – Outdoor Living

Bespoke 1930s style European Oak gates

Gates are a speciality of ours, most are bespoke and some have somewhat of a history to them. Goodwood Estate asked us to make a pair of gates for Hound Lodge which was under renovation as guest accommodation on the estate.

The design was taken from a 1930's picture of a gate that was situation elsewhere on the estate some years earlier. Eventually we made three gates, two for a vehicle access and one for a pedestrian access to woodland, all matching.

The gates were manufactured from European Oak in our workshops at Selham.
